THE APPROACH
At South of the Clouds, guided mindfulness practices, looking at art and creative exploration come together. Each session has its own theme, which we explore in these three ways — with curiosity, openness and without judging your experience as right or wrong.
Through guided practices, we bring attention to sensations in the body, the breath and our surroundings. You practise noticing what is here, meeting yourself with kindness.
We look at selected works of art together. Insights from art history and open questions invite us to look more closely. Your observations are welcome — no prior knowledge is needed.
We explore the theme with our own hands, using flowers, paint or clay. You receive ideas and support, with space to find your own way and follow your own pace.

Looking at a flower, noticing the direction of a branch, becoming aware of the spaces in between: through guided mindfulness practices, looking at art together and arranging flowers, we explore what it means to look more closely.
You don’t need any previous experience. I offer guidance and ideas as you create, with room for your own expression.
In preparation: further sessions with paint and clay will offer new ways to explore mindfulness.
