The Art of Attention I – Looking Slowly
Spend time with an artwork, linger over a detail and notice how its colours and shapes speak to you. We begin by looking with mindful attention, discovering what draws us in from moment to moment.
We then bring these impressions into our work with flowers. I offer simple creative guidance and short mindfulness practices as you explore, pause and notice how your composition takes shape, step by step.
The artworks and flowers may vary between sessions. You’re welcome to return to a familiar combination or ask me to recommend a date offering something new to explore. Even with the same artwork and flowers, the experience is different each time – because no two moments are the same.
Many Ways to Create
These floral works offer a glimpse of the different forms your creativity might take. In the course, you’ll create your own composition, guided by the flowers available that day and what you notice and respond to.
Your Session at a Glance
Dates & Duration
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 9:30 am to 12 noon. Each session lasts 2½ hours.
Group Size
Six to nine participants. A minimum of six participants is required for the session to go ahead.
Course Fee
€60 per person, per session, including VAT. This includes tea, light refreshments and the use of all necessary equipment, tools and vessels.
Materials
An advance payment of €20, including VAT, covers the flowers and foliage. The final amount is based on the actual purchase cost of the materials allocated to your participation. If this is less than €20, the difference will be refunded on the day. You will not be charged more than €20 for materials.
You’re welcome to take your flowers home afterwards.

I’ll reply by email to confirm availability and provide full venue and payment details. Your place is confirmed once the full advance payment of €80 per person, including VAT, has been received. This consists of the €60 course fee and the €20 advance payment for materials.
